I plan on buying a DS at some point soon, mainly for Pokemon Platinum. I've not played a pokemon game since Pokemon Blue about 10 years ago now, keep waiting for a full 3D version on a console, but it seems that isn't going to happen.
I was hoping someone could clear some things up for me please,
1. Where is the 'partner' game, like red/blue. Or is it a stand alone game like yellow, which worked with red/blue. Stand alone
2. If it is stand alone, what are the most recent Pokemon games? Diamond/Pearl?
Yes
3. If stand alone, what are the differences between it and the paired games? Yellow just seemed to have characters from the TV show added, but I guess that would have already been done in the recent games, so what exactly is new? Is there anything I won't be able to do on platinum that I could on the others? battle Frontier-like Island, where you finish collecting the 8 badges and beaten the leader, you go here to get more badges or whatever they call it here. 4. On the N64 I bought a Pokemon stadium game, and it allowed me to use my Blue pokemon on it in full 3D and do a bunch of stuff, I see Pokemon Battle Revolution for the Wii, but apparently it sucks? Stadium on N64 had a sequal, any plans for sequal to this? No
5. Will platinum even work with Battle Revolution? I don't know for sure =/ 6. When is it getting a Euro release? soon, so far not confirmed yet, but it could take time >_< 7. Can anyone recommend any other good DS games please, without listing any form of RPG, or any Nintendo made games. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow,Meteos, Phoenix wright, Pre-thanks for replies. |
