1. Didn't the $600 price tag tip you off? And the rumors that it cost over $800 to produce at first? Sony has been working on hardware revisions to save cost since day one, and without being distracted by any catastrophic hardware failures wink wink.
2. I'll believe THAT when you give me a source -- or it might be they claimed the PS3 will have turned a profit OVERALL by then. Which I doubt.
