Well, they are. Over 10 years, they've only put out three (arguably four) good Tales RPGs. And I played every one except Destiny (the first), Legendia, and Tempest.

Or was he talking second string as far as Namco Bandai? I am talking about quality.

I mean just second-string period, and I am glad someone can step back from the fact that two Tales games are being released right now and acknowledge that the franchise is relatively mediocre

There are just a lot of other RPG franchises out there that are way better.  Namco-Bandai even has better RPG franchises, although Xenosaga is probably toast...

You can't acknowledge an opinion. You can agree with one. IMO, Xenosaga is not a great, or even good rpg franchise.

Stop acting like your opinion, based off very little knowledge and very much assumption, is a generally accepted fact.

You wanna argue about it, you can give me your top 50 best jrpgs on the PS2, and I'll give you mine. For your information, however, Symphonia is a cult classic.

Then I can tell you how it's ignorant to generalize a broad group of games without playing them.

Certainly the Tales of series ranges in quality, but generalizing such a great franchise is criminal. Especially when the top end of said ranging is in the "excellent" category.

Your comments about the Tales series in this post have been ignorant even if they were correct(which it is my opinion that they are not), if for no other reason: Generalizing. I acknowledge that, because it's a fact.
