@Lemmiwinks: I know what Miyamoto have said. The quote also said that Wii Music is more interesting than a videogame, which after all only supports my view on the OP.
Anyway, being a "toy" instead of "game", is an example of product orientated view, meaning that the product itself would decide its job, when it's the products user to decide.
What Miyamoto said actually is, that Wii Music isn't built as games traditionally are (notice that games are toys).
