Yes but... I think comparing this to foot... err soccer isn't really fair. This is more like ice hockey than soccer. yes, they kick a little checkered ball but with all the power ups, checking, and other violent stuff, it's more 'entertainment' than it is soccer. Most that play it play for fun and don't care squat about soccer.
