The above is a trolling post. See, I stated my opinion on the matter then this person attempts to goad me into making yet another post with their disparaging comments. I highly, highly doubt the Wii will ever see 51 million consoles sold by March 2009 with such a weak game lineup scheduled for the rest of the year. I guess we'll just have to see how it goes.

I apologize if the tone was overly offensive. Still, your opinion is based on absolutely nothing; it's just "I don't like Nintendo's games, so there's no way they will sell a lot of Wiis." Uhh, great...

That's nice and all, but it's pretty unconvincing given that Nintendo has stated in their own fiscal results (where lying is a federal crime) that they plan to move 51m Wiis by the end of March 2009. Look for yourself (info on page 11): http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2008/080730e.pdf

I find Nintendo's sales forecast to be a lot more persuasive than "random Internet poster."

My opinions aren't based on "nothing" as you say. They are based on watching this industry and its trends very closely since the early eighties. It doesn't look like you've been watching carefully. I think you missed the last 20 months.

Also, I have degrees in English literature, psychology, and religion plus an inherited natural ability to look deep into the minds and mindsets of people. My father was a both a leading prosecuting and criminal defense attorney in his lifetime. Ummm... that's nice, but what does any of that have to do with Nintendo's financial reports?

My opinions might seem like trolling or hocus pocus to some people; however, I swear that I am what Anton Lavey would call a great "cold reader" into trends and human behavior. Well then forgive me O great one, but I would rather believe an argument based on FACTS (like Sulla's post) than one based on your intuition.

Quite frankly sir, if this is the sort of "evidence" you're basing your opinion on, then well... maybe those cold reading skills will tell you what many people here think you should do with your "inherited natural ability"
