Why exactly will the Wii not last long?
Introducing a new console in 3 years or less would be a bad move...it'd screw over all the current Wii owners.
What I want is a better Wii sometime in the future, improved web browsing, hard drive, and hopefully more cost effective so I won't mind buying it. You can't just slap on a more powerful processor and graphics card, and start making HD games...it doesn't work like that...none of the current Wiis would able to play future games...
