Well, Final Fantasy was a Nintendo franchise for many, many years so it would be kinda natural. But series change platforms all the time and stay there so I don't think the odds of a new FF game the Wii are tremendous tbh (there could be some spin off or slightly unrelated FF game though, like on the DS!).
Square Enix likes to push the hardware lately with their FF games and are known for making brilliant graphics on the PS machines (FFIX on PS and FFXII on PS2 are epic in this regard) so this could also be one determining factor.
