The storylines of the two different games are not very intertwined (from what we know). Fable 2 IS set in the original world of Albion but it is some 500 years after the events of the first game. Over at the Lionhead website there is a very interesting three part series called the "Tales of Albion" that gives a quick overview of the world's history. Only two parts have been released. From what I can tell part one represents what happened before (And to an extend during) the first Fable. The second part represents things that have happened BETWEEN the two games. I didn't hear any of the hype for Fable before playing it, and I believe it was awesome. |
