That commercial is a system seller, lol. I downloaded it in HD on XBL. I think it is the best trailer for a game, yet to be released. Almost everyone who bought Gears, will pick up the sequel. It might not move a lot of consoles, but it'll probably be really well reviewed and sell a ton of software. That, plus price drop, could be big for the 360 this holiday in the US, imo.
I think the OP might be underestimating the hype Gears 2 has in the US, either that, or I'm overestimating it, lol. I think Gears was pretty mainstream, and the sequel is very hyped, thus, will sell many units of software. Hardware? Who knows with the way GTAIV performed.
