who will win in a fight? Kratos or Link

See, this is what I'm talking about. Once you get some real thought out arguments, this is actually fun.

I agree that if you take Kratos at the very start of his series and Link at the very start of his, maybe just have both completely their first quest or get through 25% of the game so they have a few basic items, that Kratos would have the advantage. Even if Link had the bow, it would still be a question of if Kratos was fast enough to bridge the gap, or if Link has enough speed or any other way to maintain the gap and still be able to fire accurately at the same time. If Kratos did manage to bridge the gap, I think it would entirely depend on how well Link can roll and flip, duck and block to avoid Kratos attacks. I think Kratos could have Link down in roughly 3 shots, provided he could land them all solidly, so it's really a question of how much Link can wear him down before it comes down to a melee battle and if Link can whittle him down the rest of the way before he gets killed. Also by 25%, Link should be able to get a bottle and a fairy in most games, so that would give him a good "time to run" points.

After about 25%, I think Link starts gaining the advantage. Link always has some bombs, usually has a bow or some other ranged attack, commonly has a boomerang of some sort, usually some sort of speed boosting item, frequently some sort of recovery item that gives you a second life if you die, and commonly has some sort of method of teleportation/control over time/transformation.
When you take all the powers from all the games, the sheer diversity just makes it unquestionably in Link's favor. It doesn't matter that Kratos beat a god, get over it. In Greek and Roman mythology, people beat gods all the f-ing time, all they were really were very powerful people that never seemed to die naturally. Doesn't mean that someone who can kill them can kill anything EVER.
