@Ail: PC:s strength is that everyone has one. Besides, PC developers need to make a "low settings" version for the game anyway, which doesn't really use the graphics strength.
@Jerry: No, the number is combined SCE profit during the PS2 years, so it includes hardware, software and licensing.
I can't believe someone is still believing in the ten years plan. Who would buy PS3 when next gen comes out? The early adopters? People who bought Wiis? Nobody. Besides, Sony will push PS4 with all they can, in order to have a better shot in the next gen.
