Microsoft would be in first place, and still to this day have double what the PS3 has, at least. My reason for this is that it would have most likely been the 'cheap' console that anyone who just wants 'a new game console' would buy, it would have the most appeal in the US (assuming Sony's strategy didn't get altered as well), and it would have all the 'fun' little games as well as the big, bad shooters. This would snowball into far more thid-party support, and it would continue until the 360 sold 80 million or so.
Sony and Nintendo would be duking it out, with probably a slight win for Sony since they would have third-party support.
