A bunch of assholes who know what they are doing most likely. If you look at the games that are selling on the Wii, Epic games really do not fit in the pattern. This gen we have a strong division.

"Asshole" doesn't denote lack of intelligence or ignorance. It denotes lack of manners and/or respect. In this case it is lack of respect for about 30 million people worldwide.

Just because a bunch of a-holes know what they're doing, doesn't excuse poor manners, lack of respect, and general rude behavior on the part of the main, speaker a-hole, who's supposed to be giving a PR interview.

I very much respect Gears. However, I dislike seeing a group of people get insulted by anyone.

I'm still buying Gears.

I wonder if the PS3 fanboys would have the same reaction if an Epic had said something like that about the PS3. Oh wait. Cliffy roasted MGS4 AND Resistance 2. You guys had a temper tantrum and said you hated the entire company.

That turned around fast when it was assumed the next game after Gears would hit the PS3 as well. I wonder if you would still love them tomorrow, if they announced it as a 360 exclusive.

I wonder if PC fans love them when Cliffy claims the PC lost its edge.

I wonder if Wii fans love them when they call us crap.

I wonder if MGS fans love them when they tell us MGS4 isn't the direction that they want their games to go in.

I wonder if Resistance 2 fans will love them when they tell them that Resistance 2 sucks compared to Gears 2.

I'm a 360 fan, and I don't even like them. Any of them. Good games, bad people. End of story.
