I've moved and expanded my comments to explain much of the "Tales of" series(as it is quite confusing actually) here:

I hoped to more thoroughly explain what seperates Vesperia from most other games in the series, and in creating a full topic about it I can present a longer and more complete post, and more people will be able to read and further expand their gaming knowledge on this important and surpisingly oft brought up subject.
