Eternal sonata 360 - is it worth getting

Honestly after playing Lost Odyssey, I would set my expectations pretty low for Eternal Sonata. The game has great art and great battle system but its just average. The story isn't that great, its short, and has only one side quest. You'll probably clock 25 to 30 hours on your first play through.

 

Pah...Eternal Sonata has got a unique charm, that it carries throughout the whole of its story, graphics and style.

 

Most RPGs these days don't have this (they all used to).

Nope, I liked Blue Dragon more than I did Eternal Sonata. It took a while to get going but it was a longer much more rewarding experience and the shadow system was far deeper than the combat in Eternal Sonata. Even if you rush through it Blue Dragon is twice as long as Eternal Sonata and it actually has side quests.
