Kwaad. May I direct your attention to the launch of the PS2. Most of the games that rolled out after launch looked mediocre at best. Even today when we look at the PS2 library we see a glut of games that underperform on the system. I agree with you completely about the graphics on the Wii. But it's not the architecture that is the problem. I think much of the problem comes from the fact that the Wii caught most developers off guard. Nintendo in First Place? No freaking way did anyone think that could be a possibility two years ago. And it takes two to three years to make great games. I think the Wii should be given a year allowance as far as third party development is concerned. We even gave that to the 360. the first game to truly utilize the power of teh 360 was Gears...wasn't it?
