@Ovvovov: Haha, yeah. Actually by looking at Wiis and GC:s transformer units, Wiis transformer (max output) is rated 3 watts below GC:s, so they propably consume near the same in practice.
Since Wii uses the same tech with PS360, it's lower specs are seen as lower power consumption. It was stated in "Iwata asks", that with the tech used in Wii, GC:s power consumption could have been cut to a quarter.
