Which fighting series should Nintendo make their own?

Ugh...don't remind me. Dark Rift was the worst fighting game I've ever played. I couldn't wait to yank it out my N64.

I feel bad that you actually had to play Dark Rift but you're not alone.  Back in the SNES/N64 days, I was super into 2D fighters and picked up just about every one you could name (Primal Rage anyone?).  I actually still have my copies of Dark Rift and War Gods somewhere.  I really tried to like both as well but they just weren't that great.  In fact, outside of SSB, the N64 had certified sh*t for fighters IMO.
