Tales niche series Call of Duty 5 could be good if it has solid online Guitar hero 4 will be the top seller on wii because of install base and appeal to casuals Tenchu no Dead Rising port Wario Land ( a really hardcore game for me not all generic fps) maybe good but not woth a full $50 Fatal Frame 4 next year Fragile ditto Sky Crawlers what? Megaman 9 definitely, better not cost more than 1000 wii points though... classic controller FTW Harverst Moon again, niche series Samba the amigo port Castlevania spinoff fighting game designed only for fans of the series Animal Crossing not much different than the previous GC/DS versions, but will sell like mad, again because of casuals. And pspfans the ds have more piracy than your psp |
You forgot to mention Wii Music... but again, like Wii Fit, Animal Crossing, etc.. its designed strictly to suck money from the ill-informed casual audience's pockets, and not for the hardcore gamer who wants to play something they wont get bored of after 5 minutes.
So after all that there are NO triple-A games this holiday season from Nintendo (I don't consider Animal Crossing a triple-A title, especially since its not even that much different from the last 2 versions save for online).
And the top three titles IMO are all third party multiplatform titles... GH: World Tour, CoD5, and MegaMan 9... theres also Star Wars: TFU, Clone Wars, Ghostbusters (if that ever happens), Deadly Creatures, Lego Batman, and a few other decent third party offerings, but again most of those are third party multiplatform titles... there's nothing that screams HUGE MUST BUY AAA GAME OF THE YEAR like there was last year with Galaxy and later Brawl. The second half of '08 has already been a huge letdown for Wii gamers, and we're only a month in!

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
