Why do sony still use disks

I don't understand the appeal of filling up a hard drive when you've already got the thing on disc. I'd much rather just play off the disc, load times don't bother me but sitting there installing an entire game collection onto a hard drive definitely would.

 

I agree... simply downloading games is not a good solution. With the massive ammounts they take up and the fact that I cant go out to the mall and look around for them ( :P ) takes away a lot...
