@sc: Because they are interested in making money, that means a PS360 simultaneous release.

And because SE takes the Wii as a joke. Almost as disrespecting the userbase. When do you think FFCC:CB will be shown again? The game was announced years before any of the PS3 or 360 games, yet it hasn't got a release date, as opposed to the HD games, and we don't know anything about the game, nothing really. We just got some random CGI movie and that's it.

Wii seems to be getting the scraps from SE that's why I don't take them seriously anymore. And remember they didn't support the GC, so why would they now?

No because its Disney choice, and Disney would be like either Wii or nothing. I'm sure SE would say Wii. As for think the wii is a joke. Give me proof. Maybe they want to do the best they could with FFCC and that is why its taking so long. Also FFXIII and Versus started development in 2003, Star Ocean the last hope was announce before the next gen consoles even released, Infinit Undiscovery was announced last year, and probably started developement way before that, and its not even being developed by square enix, but by tri ace, the same developer of Star Ocean. FFCC:TCB was announced in 2005, but if you look at the Trailers from 2005, and the trailer from 2007 you see that the game was changed alot. Also it probably had to get changed even more when Crystal Tools was ported to the Wii. I think thesse long developement times guaruntee the game as good. They could have just developed the game for 2 years and then released  a Above Average game, but not amazing like they did with the original.

Since when do long development times equal AAA amazing titles, or short development times equal mediocre games? Is Boom Blox a bad title? Also by that logic we could expect Too Human to be the best game ever.

I think 2 years is more than enough to produce a great title. And one last thing FFCC wasn't amazing, just good.
