Also, the fact a big new release comes out for the Wii is fairly irrelevant when it sells out every week.

The 'price cut'/clearance sale is only in the US and Canada.

And while new games don't boost hardware sales for a sold out console, many believe that Nintendo is strategically shipping 'extra' consoles to a territory when a new game comes out there.
