Yeah, Nintendo should have definitely had this technology incoporated in the Wii-mote from the beginning. But I am willing to forgive Nintendo if they sale it for less than 10$ a piece. But I doubt Nintendo would be that nice to its consumers. Which is kind of sad because many wii owners thought the Wii-motes already had this technology.
