Just because the supply seems good, doesnt mean the demand is low. Its just means the EU is getting a very healthy supply.
The Wii is by far the most popular console in my local area anyway. Each of the 10- shops i mentioned had massive signs outside saying Wii in stock & tons of people were buying them.
Also its interesting for me to see the Shelf Space "Game" (UKs largest vgames retailer) dedicates to Nintendo now (instead of 360 & PS3).
In the previous 2 generations, Game (then known as EB) was basically a PS1/2 shop. However now the largest section for this generation is DS & Wii, with PSP, 360 & PS3 getting far less shelf space.
Obviously the biggest space is still for PS2, but im not including the old gen...
So far from what i see Wii is much more popular here. Obviously things can change...
All the stuff i see for Wii (huge advertising, windown displays at stores, competitions for winning consoles on TV/radio, etc, etc) ....this in the previous generations was always dominated by sony...but now the mainstream stuff is all nintendo (ds & wii)
