The cel shading looks lousy, but that's only because of the way they did it. If Nintendo remade OoT in the cel shaded style, it would be wonderful.
Some things still look good cel shaded though, even in this very basic form. For example, the Temple of Time, and the Eye Switch inside the Deku Tree.
