Well they never made a 2d metroid. That is R&Ds job. Also nintendo could have told them to put it in the game.

OF course, but I don't think retro fits as a good developer for a 2d metroid. Plus I want the people who made super metroid to make dread.

 

that would be good,but miyamoto played a big role in super metroid i dont think he will help in dread though
