I think this is the 20th topic Vaio posted bashing Ninty today.

So he's been slumming it today. Give the guy a break: he's no troll.

On topic, this article's got quite a few problems. First, Wii Sports and Wii Play (the "tech demoes" alluded to) still have some of the highest playtime on the system, according to Nintendo's user data, which rather defeats the argument that they're fluff that no one keeps playing. Second, it's hard to say you're a "rabid fan(...) of anything that pushes our hobby closer to the ever-lucrative goal of mainstream acceptance" and then bash the games that are doing it in the next sentence. Yes, he tries to address that concern, but since the attempt boils down to "no one plays Wii Sports for long" (see above) I'd have to say I'm not impressed. And while I'll leave the other flaws to you guys, so as to not hog all the fun, I don't recall the Seal of Quality meaning the game is fantastic: it just meant you could pop it into your system and it would work. Does he really want to lower standards by that much again?
