I don't think it can get to those levels outside of Japan.  Japan has historically picked one large winner in each generation, while in the U.S. and Europe other consoles have done good business in addition to the market leader.  I think over 50% is quite an achievement for both areas...if Wii got to 50%+ of home console sales, that would be even more impressive.
