So this is for the people that owned a PS2 during the 6th gen, and the question is what was your first console you bought in the 7th gen, Wii, X360 or PS3.

I owned a PS2 last gen and my first 7th gen console was a PS3.

Got a wii first because it was cheap, bought a ps3 when I had the money

I was a lucky man.. I got Wii and PS3 in the opening week... I actually got a Wii 1st the 3 days Later a PS3, but I don think I count because I had a GC and PS2 Last gen

Wii for me, pretty much only because of the price tag that was attached to it. Then Ps3 after much saving up

Got a Wii as cheap at launch

Got a 360 next as wanted Dead Rising amongst other things

Will get a PS3 when the price drops again, still too expensive in the UK

Wii because it was cheapest first and im not willing to pay more than $300 for the base console. However I have to mention that I've only bought 3 games for it (wii sports obviously does not count) and the play time is utterly dwarfed by the PS3 and X360. In fact the play time I have in fallout 3 alone dwarfs the play time of my wii.

Wii because of Wii Sports and Zelda: Twilight Princess. The PS3 had absolutely zero games I wanted at launch.

PS3.

Can't beat Sony's hardware and first party games. Everything else comes later.

Went from a Dreamcast, PS2, Gamecube last gen to a 360, Wii, PS3 this gen (in that order).

Well... I had a PS2 but before i had a PS2 i had a cube first. still...

PS3 was first, got one of the last 80GB motorstorm bundles with most backwards still there.

then the 360 when i heard SO4 was coming out as a 360 exclusive (at the time anyway, i knew it would go PS3 but didn't want to wait.) and i still dont have a wii....

Also i wanted a 360 for Infinite Undiscovery because tri-ace is great.
