The install base of handhelds is always higher than that of consoles. Meaning New Super Mario Bros. DS has a better chance of outselling Red/Blue

No, Pokemon sold that much because Red/Blue/Green are different games counted together, and some pepole could've bought several copies of the game.



Bet with Dr.A.Peter.Nintendo that Super Mario Galaxy 2 won't sell 15 million copies up to six months after it's release, the winner will get Avatar control for a week and signature control for a month.

Installbase has got diddly poop to do with this discussion. Mario games seem to just do better on consoles, period

lol like when people thought that it won't reach 11 million whithin a year. Than alot of people thought we were crazy.

Than sells 11 million in just 2 mounths and a half. People laugh at this for now.
