She isn't #1 because she is a new up and coming musical talent, it's because she has a catchy song. It has nothing to do with talent, her producers just know how to turn a person into a "musician". All you gotta do is add a catchy beat and add some cool sounds with a mixer and you're golden.
Lyrics about alcohol and a rebellious attitude help too.
