Malstrom wrote an interesting blog post about Matt's meltdown and I think he's right when he says that the sales of NSMB Wii were the cause of it. It's just too much for some folks that a game so backwards as NSMB Wii can be a bigger hit than the well crafted titles like Galaxy.

That's why I said in the duplicate thread that this is probably a parody to lure in gullible persons and have them to agree with this nonsense. Basically Matt is trying to do a Rol.

EDIT: And he's quite successful at it.

I dont think 99% of wii owners are casuals. I think 99% of wii library is made of horrible casual games that alienated the user base

I dont hate wii sports. I hate poorly made wii sports clones.

My wife took a picture of me in my Mario hat and made it my avatar on Twitter. Would you feel I was riffing on you if I used it as my VGChartz avatar?

In a celebration of developer laziness, you see

go right ahead. I will be replacing my avatar with my new son wearing the hat and holding a Wii Remote. I just need him to get old enough to actually stay awake for more than 2 minutes and not want to eat




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

One thing in reading this thread -- I cannot understand why some people own a Wii if they do not like the offerings for the system so much that they have to continually and repeatedly make derogatory statements regarding the console, the games, and Nintendo.

If we were talking sequels to FPS, everyone would be saying how wonderful it was, even though you might be playing the only playable character and shooting the same enemies for the third time. Or you might be trying stealthy win a future war against the same enemies and bosses for the fourth time. Mike from MorgantownOr if this were an open world game, you might be playing another derivative low-life person on an amoral life of crime for the fifth time.
