Wii is pretty much selling enough at the moment to reach that target soon.  It's at about 58.3 Million now, plus this weeks sales will make it around 59.1 Million, and the week after it should be pretty much over the 60 Million mark.  Anyone agree?

DS will pretty much outsell the original Gameboy next week which sold 118 Million.  DS has sold roughly 116.4 Million as of last week,  plus with this weeks numbers it should be over 118 Million.  Actually DS could already have topped it now!  120 Million before 2010 is a definite now. 

Yeah, I think both are a given at this point. 120 million before 2010 too. Nice.

Certainly it will before Jan 1st, then it´s just small steps till it tops the NES, becoming Nintendo´s best selling home console of all time.

After topping 60 million, another 1.9 Million to acheive that.  NES sold 61.9 Million, this is great for Nintendo.

This acheivement couldn't happen at a better time than Christmas.

Sales of DS have suddenly gone hyper, and 120 million was out of the question a few weeks back but now I think it could just do it.

Nintendo is proving gaming is stronger then ever. The industry wasn't really effected by the recession. At least Nintendo wasn't. Proving once again who the greatest first party is!

That goes to show that Iwata is great with finanical stuff, if he was prime minister of UK, then recession might not even occured, and maybe 90% of the people that lost their jobs got them back.

I'm going with 700-900k next weeks sales (typically a drop after Black Friday and then picks back up) and then 1-1.2m the following week, so 60m should be no problem.

End of 2010, Wii should finnaly top NES sales, and then onto at least 62 Million. Nice indeed.
