I realise I might get alot of flak for not saying uncharted 2 (even though it's fantastic) but i'm gonna go with Batman: AA. And also what do you think of 2009 as a year in gaming so far? I thought it was a bit underwhelming in comparison to other years but it did have some truly stand out titles.

Dragon Age is a really great RPG. It has all of the best parts of Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights and KOTOR, and mixes them all up with one of the best stories ever made for a Dark Fantasy Epic RPG :D

My favorite game of 2009 is Demon's Souls. While there have been many great games this year (Uncharted 2, Dragonage, etc) Demon's Souls was a wonderful surprise.

As far as the gaming year goes, I think its been great. Games like Batman:AA, Borderlands and Dragon Age were a major refresher, although I have missed a really good jrpg on one of the major consoles.
