I'd rather get Layton, Megaman or Torneko in Smash 4 to be honest. I wouldn't say no to Travis though, and I'd definitely take him over Snake.

good that non-wii owners get to check out what i thought was a very decent game
annoyed that wii-bashing ps3/360 owners are getting excited for a game that was exclusive to the wii which apparantly has NO good games: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/irony

Kojima literally begged to put Solid Snake in smash, what hope Travis has if he was not an exclusive Nintendo related character. That also would help as a marketing stunt for the franchise but now it's just another multiplatform game. In my heart it will be always a Wii exclusive because it was the resson it was created in the first place. But i am happy and I am hopping other people that were too stuborn to play it on the Wii to try it now on the HD systems. |
Please stop blaming Wii gamers for the lack of sales for No more Heroes or any other Marvelous game. That company does not advertise and their games have suffered for it not just on the Wii but the PS2 also. I just look up Marvelous using the game database and their games have never really sold well at all.
If Nintendo is successful at the moment, it’s because they are good, and I cannot blame them for that. What we should do is try to be just as good.----Laurent Benadiba
I am kind of split. I Like the game it deserves more of an audience and quite frankly I hope it gets the advertising it deserves on the HD consoles.
The problem I fear is that if they actually you know advertise the game beyond the intranets hype. With proper advertising and built up word of mouth from Wii owners to HD owners, as well as a larger base for HD consoles then when the original NMH was released for the Wii, this game has a potential for a pretty decent sales spike over the original.
Whihc si good a in a lot of ways but unless they are willing to advertise NMH 2 on the Wii just as much it could lead to a swayed opinion from developers.

That would be Ubisoft and Rising Star. Looks like they're putting in the investment to boost up the game's textures and geometry. Now it will look like crap for an HD game instead of looking like crap for a Wii game. |
lol good one
I'm Unamerica and you can too.

NMH makes them earn the more. But yes this a comany that follow Suda and Suda's games don't sell that much
My only reaction is to enjoy watching the people that said the game was crap simply because it was on a system they did not want/own now saying that they liked the game all along or that they have been, "converted" because the game is now appearing on the console of their choice.

i wasn't happy at the beginning but i got over it, because i was thinking if its sold on the HD consoles maybe it will help No More Heroes 2 sales abit?.. but i don't see it selling many copy's.. the people that are most likely the first in line to buy this game are wii owners that has a ps3 or 360 as well... like me lol
Great, there will be plenty more "Which NMH boss is your favorite?!" threads around. Those are always fun.
Seriously though, I hope 360/PS3 owners enjoy the game. I sure did, and I'm ready to enjoy the sequel coming out in January. Looks great!
