So you are pretty much predicting that almost a million of fans have leaved the franchise since 2006?

I guess that not everyone of them has a PS3, but shouldn't be this the game for them to buy a PS3? It's not like there is something similar on the market which could take it's sales away.

I think a lot of people let that Famitsu prediction for FFXIII get to them. They only predicted 1.5 LTD for the game, which is pretty crazy.

It should sell less than FFXII, but ussualy franchises with a solid fanbase don't die that quickly unless some entry in the series hurts the franchise, which is pretty much what happened with Devil May Cry 2 and Tekken 4. Gamers dind't like those entries, and lot of them dind't give the series a change after that.

Remember MGS4, and how people where predicting 300-400k LTD?

FFXIII's pre-order numbers (if vgchartz is to be believed) are terrible compared to FFX (if wikipedia is to be believed)

   Low Famitsu estimate doesnt help either, Famitsu has been very accurate with their predictions lately.

Samurai Warriors 3

SW3 is higher on the most wanted chart than Tekken, Bayonetta, and even ToG. Although that's not an absolute standard on how a game would open (as NSMB Wii is nowhere to be found on such chart), it does show that the game is somewhat anticipated. It should do decent.

Tales of Graces
FW - 140K
LT - 250K
Somehow I don't think ToG is as anticipated as past Tales games. It will sell better than DotNW but my expectation for the game is certainly lowered from it was first announced.

Final Fantasy XIII
FW - 1.1m
LT - 1.8-2m
Based on the Japanese preview, the preorder has slowed after the rush when the release date was announced. While there is no doubt FFXIII will be the best selling PS3 game in Japan, it would have a hard time to break 2 m lifetime. This will definitely be the lowest selling main FF game after FFVII made it big (exluding FFXI).

OMG world must be ending as i for once agree with Saicho predictions.

Only diffrence I'd say 300k LT for ToG

Samurai warriors seems like its hitting some momentum in the preorders charts. I'd say:
180k FW 280K LTD

ToG: 250k FW- 400K LTD

Call me crazy, but i have aot of faith that these games will perform well

NSMB 400-600K FW 2-3 million LTD

FF13 1.2-1.4 mil FW 2 million LTD
