Exactly. What a laughable statement that some "the best developers in the world" can figure out how to properly port their last gen engine on PS3.

They never once said this.  You guys seem ignorant to the facts.

They said the CHOSE not to because it would be difficult and costly.  They never said they COULDN'T and I'm 100% sure they could make a PS3 game if they wanted.  They'd just rather spend their money where they get the best and safest return on investment.  There is nothing wrong with this.

Now enough of this MS moneyhats Valve conspiracy stuff.

he made a comment that no one should ever make in the game industry about ANY community of gamers. This was aimed at the PS3 gamers, insulting them yet again by saying, "In hooking up with your friends and the community aspects, I think the Xbox 360 is head and shoulders above the PS3. The 360 and PC are on par, right?", and that Left 4 Dead 2 will be exclusive for that reason alone.

You don't know? It's only acceptable if a former PS3 exclusive goes multiplatform. The logic? "It's better because it opens the game up to a wider audience and it gives the developer a chance to recoup development costs"

Now if a game is wanted to go from 360 exclusive to multiplatform...well that's just stupid. The above logic doesn't apply there. It's been that way since the PS3 released. Did you forget?

I've seen this enough, and I'm tired of it. "Blah blah blah, it's difficult and it'll cost money". Figure it out, make a good game, and people will buy it. You'll make your money back, and some. Problem solved.
