Why is it ok for Kojima to ignore the 360 for MGS4 (even though there would have been a big market for it on both consoles) but yet Valve gets a eat shit and die comments for not releasing Left 4 Dead on the PS3? Valve can do what they want. I don`t think it`s logical for third-party developers to stick to exclusive development for really big name games considering the market that both the 360 and PS3 each bring to the table (which is why the third-party exclusive is becoming more rare these days). But it still happens for whatever reason. That`s their choice. Game devs and pubs are free to choose to make unintelligent decisions.

CVG recently conducted an interview with Left 4 Dead project lead Chet Faliszek, and he made a comment that no one should ever make in the game industry about ANY community of gamers. This was aimed at the PS3 gamers, insulting them yet again by saying, "In hooking up with your friends and the community aspects, I think the Xbox 360 is head and shoulders above the PS3. The 360 and PC are on par, right?", and that Left 4 Dead 2 will be exclusive for that reason alone.
First of all, this is about the technical ease of hooking up with your friends, not about the community itself.

Secondly, even if this is saying that the 360 and PC communities are better than the PS3 community, then this is about the weakest insult I've seen all generation. This does not even come close to "...a comment that no one should ever make in the game industry about ANY community of gamers." There has been much, much worse on all sides.

Just update your PC and quit bitching seriously its getting annoying. Sure the comments are uncalled for but Valve has every right to not develop for the PS3.



I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

That double standards from Fanboys.  Its always Sony fans who going overboard with this shit.  Remember the whole Devil May Cry 4 petition when they decided to release it to 360.

Wow is all i have to say. This comment is full of ignorance. Just cause they choose to not release games on PS3 theyre lazy? I think your overreacting. Honestly is it so hard to just UPGRADE your PC if its more than like 4 years old? Honestly or just buy a 360 either way you would be in a better position to enjoy all that gaming has to offer.

Man, I'm Sony all the way and even would like Valve to make games for ps3, but jeez this guy seems like he's really blowing Valve's comments out of proportion-even if their comments aren't accurate. I think he got way too upset...

well im glad somone had the balls to say it, and wow there not banned , i am tryly shocked anytime anyone says anything true about microsoft there tossed, blessed day, i like playing on both systems and i own the first left for dead, and orange box, which i bought used for 7 bucks, i will not buy left for dead 2, i will not spend another penny on valve games. until they pull there head out of there ass. and its really ok, because games like killzone2 , uncharted1 and2 , infamous, fear project oragin, res 1 and 2, call of dutys, halo, gears of war, all these games really do kick valves ass. ans there are many more to come, cant wait god of war, halo reach, killzone3, res3, alan wake, modern warfare2, we have games to keep us happy

Darkpower (the writer) overreacts to every comment or article that attacks Sony or PS3. You should read his Variety article. It's pretty hilarious because he just goes on and on about nothing.
