i like how reggie didnt talk down MW2 just because it wasnt on his console

It wasn't even the "worthy opponent" kind of talk. He genuinely complimented the game, and said it would do great, and be great.

NSMBW is good for at least 8 million sales.  I wouldn't be surprised if it outsells Galaxy by a large margin, but I don't think it can touch Mario Kart.  The nostalgia effects on this title alone is going to be huge (I have no interest in Galaxy, but I will own NSMBW).  At the very least, it's going to be close.

Reggie would also know if they are going to do something special to boost sales even more, such as a NSMBW bundle with a black wii...

No shit man. Obviously. That's why after reading Reggie's comment, I reckon that MW2 will smash NSMBW worldwide on the 360 version alone at least up till January 2010. Hence why I posted my comment here. wtf man.

and that is because the 360 does so much better in Europe and especially Japan compared to the Wii than the US that Reggie was talking about???

NSMBros Wii will definitely beat MW2 ( both 360 and PS3 version ) I tell you why because NSMBWii is simply a MARIO GAME not a Call of Duty one.

I agree. We're seeing GTAIV vs MKWii all over again here, just without the ludicrous claims that the multiplat game is going to be the death of the Wii

While I think it will be pretty tough for NSMBW, is it really because of preorders? I could be wrong, but that looks really high for the Wii. Preorders and first day sales have never been how Wii games sell. Anyone know what the highest preordered game is on the Wii?
