People were doubting Uncharted 2, and it wouldn't move consoles while Halo 3: ODST would move more Xbox360.  Anyways, I think it's very up in the air which would sell more.  In fact, by the end of Christmas, I think Uncharted 2 is going win.

So you telling me that Uncharted 2 will outsale ODST by January 2010? What do you want to bet?

Uncharted 2 will sell more then odst by christmas? It would be a stretch if you said ever let alone by christmas.

did you not read what he said at all? he said the Uncharted 2 will keeps the sales of the ps3 above the 360,  he's saying uncharted 2 is more of a system seller than ODST

And yes, I also meant that Uncharted 2 will sell more than Halo 3:ODST by the end of the year. Right now, Halo is around 3 million plus/minus some when the official EU numbers come back. But this game's sale is trailing off quickly. This week, Halo only sold ~60,000 and it's been dropping more than 70% every week. I also don't think the word of mouth has been that ecstatic. Halo 3:ODST is more of the same, and the Halo buzz is already dead. I think with other 1st person shooters (i.e. Modern Warfare 2) coming out soon, Halo 3:ODST will have trouble reaching total 4 million sales by the end of the year.

Of course, Uncharted 2 didn't sell 2+ million copies in the 1st week like Halo, but I think Uncharted 2 will have great staying power. There are no other games in the same genre nor any game in any genre can compete with the game. The word of mouth has been ecstatic, and it's critically acclaimed. Also, Sony is actually putting out good commercials to push this game. The 2nd week drop-off of sales of Uncharted 2 will be very telling on how this game will do overall. I think this game can get to where MGS4 and Modern Warfare went for the PS3: about mid 4 million sales.

NO, DID YOU READ WHAT HE SAID?  Read the post after yours he meant Uncharted 2 will out sell ODST in tern of software by January 2010.

Are you serious? Uncharted 2 will be lucky to sell by the end of the year what ODST sold in its first week.

Uncharted is NOT Halo, and it won't sell like Halo.
