We dont even knew if Zelda was a Wii release or not, nor the date when it will be released. What Ninty give us was a drawing. And what about Pikmin 3? Im even theorized that Nintendo only bluffing just to calm the Nintendo fans.

You are just as bad as trestres, rather than enjoy the great core games for Wii that are there you keep on harping about how Nintendo supposedly abandoned the core even though NSMBWii is coming out in 1 month, followed by Sin and Punishment 2, Metroid Other M, and Mario Galaxy 2. You keep spouting this crap but you don't even think things through first. Did you also forget about Punch-Out!! which was a game specifically for the core market that came out ~6 months ago?

But then, Malstrom(which BTW always posted by Nintendo fans in Nintendo forum. theres even a news article about his blog here) was actually worse he says even fans of nintendo were drowning in blue ocean and most of them died. Of course he saved one of them. And yet no one criticized him for it...


So what if Ninty abandoned their core fanbase? Aint that bad? especially that Nintendo fans are shrinking? 30 million that bought N64 and GC wouldnt cut it. Nintendo cant sustain that kind of fanbase.



If Nintendo didnt abandon their old fanbase the gaming industry will become like the anime industry. it will have a implosion.

I ignore Malstrom because he is crazy too. He thinks Miyamoto should retire because he thinks user generated content can be good. Of Course Malstrom is no different than you or I when it comes to analysis. At least Pachter gets paid for his analysis, and while he is wrong a lot of times, he doesn't act like a pompous ass saying the industry is doomed because they aren't following his every whim.

Nintendo is E for Everyone, which includes making games that Malstrom thinks are stupid. Nintendo has made games for the core, blue ocean, casual, grandma, kiddy, and hardcore markets. If there is a lack of games for a specific market it is not the fault of Nintendo, as Nintendo can only do so much per year, but the fault of the 3rd party companies who refuse to put the big bucks into a game and instead waste away making financial flops on the HD consoles and crying that their trash games didn't sell on the Wii.

EDIT: let me throw in there that Nintendo has been E for everyone since the stupid moves they made in the N64 days. They decided quality over quantity was the only way to go and strongarmed the publishers until Sony came in and said they could publish whatever they wanted for dirt cheap. Since then, Nintendo abandoned the model of only super high budget games, but Nintendo still builds top notch quality games for everyone.

Defensive type are you? Have you seen NEs commercials? Do you know Family Computer the NES japanese counterpart? Do you seen those commercials? What about atari 2600? Even in the old days we all knew what consoles are catered to. Nintendo just screwed up in Playstation days, and SONY market their consoles in the right place in the right time.


Anyone knew animes? Were everyone says animes are more matured than cartoons? it have story? its deep? That evangelion was philosophical? 10 years from now I watched those animes that have deep story and I say WTF?!! Especially evangelion.

What does Animes have anything to do with Nintendo producing core titles that are suitable for everyone? There is no abandonment by Nintendo. If they abandoned anyone it was the Hardcore Mario Partyers as they haven't had a game since 8 came out.
