But then, Malstrom(which BTW always posted by Nintendo fans in Nintendo forum. theres even a news article about his blog here) was actually worse he says even fans of nintendo were drowning in blue ocean and most of them died. Of course he saved one of them. And yet no one criticized him for it...
So what if Ninty abandoned their core fanbase? Aint that bad? especially that Nintendo fans are shrinking? 30 million that bought N64 and GC wouldnt cut it. Nintendo cant sustain that kind of fanbase.
If Nintendo didnt abandon their old fanbase the gaming industry will become like the anime industry. it will have a implosion.

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
E3 2010- Tape runs out
