What, holding a PS3 controller in one hand and the Wand it the other? Are they serious??

The wand was an afterthought since it was announced, but it's even more so with this clumsy solution.

That looks clumsy.

Does Wii Resi need two controllers?

It needs Wiimote and nunchuck.

Signature goes here!

I just grabbed a Wii Remote and a Dual Shock, and it really didn't feel too bad. TruckOsaurus is right. It could work.

But really, it's so early. By the time the wand does come out, there's going to be an alternative. It'll be fine.

actually it doesn't look ackward.

i likely get a third party add on. aiming it's precise and alot like RE4 wii.

I didn't do extensive testing but it felt like switching one finger from L1 to L2 while holding the DS3 in one hand was unstable. It may just be that I didn't find the right grip but this does mean the control scheme is very unintuitive. A half-DS3 controller would have been a good idea to make this better.

The Break-Apart controller would have been perfect... Wish SONY had went with that for the PS3....

Now Sony, make a PS3 nunchuk so this game is playable. Thanks.

lol...Nintendo must be pissed. "We thought of this damn it"

if natal is a hit you can expect something similar on PS3 in a couple of years.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery. I think Nintendo is smiling ear to ear seeing Sony ripping their idea.

And what's the big deal about having a DS3 in one hand? doesn't look cool? I know I can grab it in different positions. If you grab it sideways for example, you have access to the Left analog stick and could also use the D-pad. Depending on the game you could grab it from the back, with the DS3 facing up (think High velocity Bowling) and who knows, maybe use the SIXAXIS motion sensor for some *complementary* task.

It beats the HELL out of a nunchuck if you ask me, and everybody with a PS3 has one. Remember people will have to buy both the "wand" and the PS Eye. They'll both likely be bundled together with a PS3 SKU, and sold together in a package too, but the DS3 is a ideal option for "hardcore" games.

Doesn't seem any quicker or more accurate than a stick.

Yep this.

I wouldn't pay more than $10 for that experience.
