You're missing the point. Launch week of Ps3 sold 80k in Japan which is horrible for a console launch. Slim having a chance to sell more consoles then the original launch is a big deal.

I do think that 100k is reasonable estimate. PS3 had:
- new design
- significatnly lower price
- new MSG game (104k for first day)
- 4 days of sales (as opposed to 40GB which debuted on Sunday)

@Noobie: Nothing is sure bet Famitsu tend to give numbers for "big game events" faster. I hope they will release something on Mondey or Tuesday.

well atleast we'll know the proper sales of slim in japan cause of famitsu or whatever. for america we have to wait for npd and europe... i dont know.
