Every one of those awards has a source, I checked them all. They're all valid. Wikipedia is fine if you check the sources, why go out of the way?
Go find me more awards for gears 2, i searched. I found none. Infact, not a single publication gave it "Game of the year" and funny, it's getting a GOTY edition.

Yeah, I know they are valid.... and I tried to find a GOTY award, but I couldn't xD. I overestimated GoeW2 =(. I *facepalmed* because I figured the GoeW2 wiki award list was incomplete, and I really don't know why I *double facepalmed*. You win, I totally failed =(

Also, thinking about it, this topic is a little silly IMHO. If we're talking just technical graphics comparison then really you need to actually understand graphics to knowledgeably comment - but WTF it's the internet, let's just go for it.

EDIT : Darc Requiem not saying your comment is uninformed, it just got me thinking that really unless you know your stuff about resolutions, etc. then any opinions are just uninformed opinions. I thought both MGS4 and Gear 2 were 720p native, is MGS4 a different resolution? Coming from PC background I tend to find knowing this stuff a pain on consoles as the box sure doesn't tell you and it's not like you have a drop down list of supported resolutions to chose from.

Try to be reasonable... its easier than you think...

The native resolution of MGS4 is sub HD. 1024x768 to be exact.
