Me cousin had rrod the other week and was going to get another 360. Obviously i told him to wait because the PS3 slim is comming out in september and costs like 250 pounds. probably a bit less. He is now getting a ps3 and trading in his 360 games

same my friend just got the rrod, he called MS to replace it as he's only had it for a year and a bit. they said they wont.....so now he's getting a ps3.

The 360 has some great exclusive games too. It also has a far better online system and better performance in a lot of cross-platform games. If I was forced to get rid of either my 360 or my PS3, the PS3 would go, no contest.

There seem to be a lot of threads started by Sony fanboys in this section. Is it always like this here?

They start threads when they are bored or have no game to play.

Ah, so it happens all year round then?  The poor souls. Why don't they just buy an Xbox 360 so they have some games to play?

you guys and sonyfanboys are losers

This story sounds extremely plausible.

Yep, Microsoft customer service are jerks. I hear stories like this almost every day.

Yeah, I mean they give everyone a 3 year warranty, then when you need to use it and you call them up, they just say "no", so those people then go out and buy a PS3 instead. I'm sure that happens constantly when you live in a dream world.

The RROD is covered for 3 years. If you haven't tampered with your console and the seal/sticker is intact, they'll fix it for free. Shinsa claims that his friend got a RROD after a year and a bit and the guy called MS to arrange a repair, but they just said "no". On what grounds did they say no?

If the PS3 is that good, people wouldn't need to make up stories and constantly dig up every little bit of dirt on MS in order to try and put people off buying an Xbox 360. The PS3 should sell on its own merits. Despite being quite sad, it's a sign of desperation on the part of the person doing the posting when they do that, a bit like some sleazy election campaign tactic, and I personally find that it puts me off the product rather than having the effect the poster intended.

yes all my townspeople r selling 360 for asilm it kickenass

No, alot of the stories I hear are customers complaining to Microsoft that their systems are not fixed when they get them back, and they just break down again right away. Then Microsoft won't take care of them.

Oh no, you're not one of those video games store employees that tries to put every potential 360 purchaser off the console are you? If the console comes back broken or breaks soon after, why won't Microsoft take care of them? Please stop lying, or at least try and make the lies a little less obvious.

lol!

Well, I'm considering a PS3 Slim, but I won't be getting rid of my 360 anytime soon...
