I think it would have been impossible to predict how much Uncharted is selling based on what evidence you had when you made the prediction :P

That's the thing, though, no-one could of predicted how successful the Uncharted franchise would become. If mind serves me correctly, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune was sitting at around 2mill when Uncharted 2 launched, now it's at 4.2mill, and Uncharted 2 is at 5.6mill. You just couldn't of predicted that kind of growth for the series. I mean, Drake's Fortune first week sales were 30k, and now it's sold 4.2 million. Incredible.
