Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Tiger Woods birdies the Wii -- PS3/XBox 360 DLC already on the Wii disk

This is like what LucasArts did with The Force Unleashed. You can download 'deleted scenes' (or something like that) on the PS3 and 360 for $10 while they were included on the Wii Disc. Same goes for extra costumes.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?

Wow, I'd be pretty fucking pissed if I were an HD gamer. Then again, if I had to play Tiger Woods with a gamepad, I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. :P

BS like this makes me reluctant to even buy the FFCC WiiWare games. I don't want to come anywhere close to validating this kind of DLC exploitation.

That's pretty lame...

A few dollars is nothing when you already spent thousands on your HD home entertainment systems.

Yhis is one of the reasons I hate DLC. Damn stupid!!!!!!!!

$7.50 for a single golf course?! I mean, I knew that downloadable content was a ripoff, but jeez...

If these are the kind of tricks that publishers are pulling to raise revenue, it's not wonder that they're all losing so much money.

My Website

End of 2008 totals: Wii 42m, 360 24m, PS3 18.5m (made Jan. 4, 2008)

We're talking about golf fans here though.

Golf is a sport where you can plop down more cash for a single club than an entire video game console.

In my day, golf games where good on the PC son. None of this newfangled and faddy motion business. Just a gamer and the old fashioned keyboard. You hear that right, none of that touchy feely crud they try to push to you young timers.

Tease.

Damn.... well it's a moot point anyways cause golf with motion is 100% better anyways...

but still this is why paying DLC should be only for extension, not little bonnuses. (I'm not sold on map packs, but they do enter in the extension definition... but that used to be free on PC...)

Same here.  I'm not going to buy WiiWare games with DLC.
