Ps3 and Bravia KDLD3000 32 inch, 100 Hz. Great LCD, I also use it as display for my pc
I love Sony - PS3, Bravia, Handycam, Cybershot, Home Theatre
Bravias are expensive >_<
I got 40" Samsung LCD TV with the ps3. It was around 300€ cheaper and it looked maybe even better than the bravia TV I was comparing it to.
I do.
Bravia and Samsung LCDs are roughly the same price in the US for the medium models..
I had to replace my 3 years old 42 inch 1080p Bravia that died on me last month and got a new one for 900$ or so and that was about the same price for the Samsung ( and both had a version more expensive with supposedly some new sharper picture technology but I coudn't tell the difference and it sure wasn't worth 400$ more..).
3 years ago the same model had costed me 2000$ and that was actually on sales down from 2500$...
Oh and for those that keep comparing Samung and Bravia LCD, well they are roughly the same.
I learned when my old Bravia died that the LCD panel in it (which is what died and is very expensive) is actually manufactured by Samsung :P
The main difference is really the design and the software...
That's not the case for Plasma TV though... I believe Sony uses its own plasma technology there.
But pretty much any decent LCD you purchase is going to have a LCD panel made by either Samsung or Sharp (Samsung more high end, Sharp more lower end).
80GB PS3, 26 inch Sharp LCD :\.
My dad's planning on getting a 60 inch LCD this Black Friday and a new PS3 [just for the Blu-ray] for the living room. Can't wait, gonna mostly play in the living room instead of my room with Uncharted 2 OMG fucking orgasm

Yep, although Sony's image processing tends to be a smidge better (especially in the XBR line).
Sony hasn't made plasma TVs for a loooong time. They went exclusively LCD a while ago.
Sharp panels tend to exhibit a lot of banding and false contouring, but are getting better.
Sorry to pick apart your post, I'm anal like that.
This why i want so hard to live in U.S. or EU, eletronics device are so cheap! You can get a 40 full hd for just 900$ !!!
Sure if I lived there i would have a 65VX100U to play my games.
